How to reach us
The best way to contact us is by email at office@mediationguide.co.uk. We read every message. If you are reporting a possible error, it helps to include the page address and the point you are querying, so we can check it against the source quickly. You can see how we handle corrections in our editorial policy.
What we can and cannot help with
| We can help with | We cannot help with |
|---|---|
| Questions about the website | Advice on your own legal or financial situation |
| Reporting a correction or broken link | Booking or arranging mediation |
| Suggestions for new guides | Representing you or contacting your ex-partner |
If you need help with your own situation, the right next step is usually a MIAM with an accredited mediator, or advice from a solicitor. To find an accredited family mediator near you, search the Family Mediation Council register.
If you are not safe
In an emergency, call 999. For confidential support at any time, the National Domestic Abuse Helpline, run by Refuge, is free and open 24 hours a day on 0808 2000 247.
Frequently asked questions
Can Mediation Guide give me advice on my case?
No. We provide general information only. For advice on your circumstances, speak to a solicitor or an accredited mediator.
How do I report a mistake on the site?
Email office@mediationguide.co.uk with the page address and the point you are querying. We check every report against the source.
Can you help me book mediation?
We do not arrange mediation ourselves. Our publisher, Family Legal Ltd, runs Mediate UK, a national mediation service with FMC-accredited mediators, so that is the quickest way to book if you would like to. You are equally welcome to choose any accredited mediator through the Family Mediation Council register.
